Given I come from a family of engineers, I have always been fascinated by the practicality of design and how products can communicate their purpose via functionality and appearance.
While the scientist in me tries to find logic in design, the marketeer yearns to target the consumer interest. At the same time the designer in me is compelled to understand human behaviour and needs.
After completing a Scientific Baccalaureat in France, a Master of Business Management, Finance and International Business in Canada, and a BA of Business Administration in the UK, I went on to spend a decade as a Marketing & Communications consultant across Asia and the UK.
From here, I found myself hungry for a role that combined problem-solving and design in a user-centric and multi-cultural environment. Given what I feel is an ability to quickly and effectively interpret detail and a strong desire to drive change, I am confident that I have found my perfect fit with UX.
With previous professional experience spanning marketing, communications and sales, I am seeking a UX design role combining my new skills with my marketing and communication background to meet both users’ needs and business objectives and grow in a profession I love.
